Picking out lingerie is often a frightening task, but it truly doesn't have to be. Every woman is shaped differently, and each has types of clothes that look good for her particular body shape. If you are a petite cutie with curves, the same clothes that will make a tall, skinny chick look good aren't necessarily for you. Instead of fighting what you have, embrace and work with it. You and whoever else sees you in your lingerie will be happy with the result.
1.
Rock a slit. Petite women are on the shorter side and sometimes need a little help in making their bodies look longer. Show off what you have by donning a gown or other type of lingerie that has a slit; doing so will make your legs appear longer.
2.
Glamorize your gams. If you are a tall chick, highlight your long legs by wearing a garter belt look with thigh-high leggings. You will also look smoking in anything with a short skirt that really gives your legs the spotlight.
3.
Accentuate your assets. If you have an athletic body with a nice tush, boy shorts are right up your alley. This type of underwear flatters your bottom and allows it to take center stage. Pair these with a cute bra on top or go au natural.
4.
Support the girls. If you are a large-breasted woman, give your ladies a boost with underwire lingerie. Unless supported, your lovely ladies will likely sag, which is definitely not the look that most women go for. Bras, teddies and even gowns often come with underwire, which allow you to wear just about any style you want.
5.
Perfect your plus size. Corsets often look sizzling on ladies with a little extra junk in their trunks. These tight-fitting bodices suck your waist and stomach in while enhancing your cleavage. Gowns, teddies and one-piece negligee numbers also flatter ladies who have a little bit more to offer. If you are having difficulties fitting into the sexy pieces, go for lingerie that is offered in plus sizes. Dark-colored lingerie also helps to hide flaws and make you look more sleek.
No matter what you wear, you must be comfortable. After all, sexiness stems from being confident. Even if you look smokin' in your get-up, if you don't feel confident your sex appeal won't shine through.
