Your pretty unmentionables deserve at least a drawer or two to keep them organized. From bras and panties to slips and camisoles, a girl needs a system for organizing lingerie. You probably have a few pieces that you save for special occasions and everyday items that you wear often. Go through your lingerie wardrobe to sort it and then tuck the pretties away so you can find them when you need them.

1.

Take all your lingerie from your drawers and spread it out on your bed. Go through everything and be ruthless. If it doesn't fit anymore or if you've worn it out, toss it. If you see popped elastic, holes or tears in bras or panties, toss them. If you don't like something and will never wear it, get rid of it. Realistically, you probably need between five and seven everyday bras and panties to make it from one wash day to the next.

2.

Make piles of everyday wear and special-occasion lingerie.

3.

Decide how you want to organize your lingerie storage. If you wear sets of matching bras and panties, fold them together into a set. If you wear bras and panties by mixing up the pieces, separate the bras and panties into separate piles and place all the bras together and all the panties together. If you have different styles of panties -- like thongs, briefs and bikinis -- separate them into groups. If you have lots of different bra colors, separate them by color.

4.

Fold sets of everyday underwear together if this fits your style. Otherwise, fold all your everyday bras and all of your everyday panties into neat little bundles. Fold your special-occasion undies into sets or separate bundles, too.

5.

Place the everyday underwear at the front of a lingerie drawer, either in sets, or with the bras on one side of the drawer and the panties on the other side. Place the special underwear in the back of the drawer.

6.

Store socks in a separate drawer, if possible. Find all the pairs and fold them up neatly. Sort them by color and style.

7.

Fold your slips, camisoles and shapewear and place them in another drawer. Use a drawer divider and stow your folded stockings and nylons in the other half of the drawer.
