Choose a one-length hairstyle for an easy, low-maintenance option that will keep looking glamorous day in and day out. The downside of layers is they keep you running back to the stylist to freshen up your ends. With a one-length style, your tresses stay bouncy and perky, just like you.
A super-short bob that comes down to your earlobes can be an ideal style for almost any hair type and face shape. Make a few curls on the top or straighten the whole thing to give you blunt edges that stop short at your ears. Tease the top of your hair for a little added height, grab a few clips and pull the top and sides back oh-so-carefully for a sweet little updo.
A bob that comes down to the chin is a little longer but still short enough to be sassy. Give your hair a touch of body with a curling iron or hot rollers or create a straight, blunt look with a flat iron. Slide in a headband and situate it at your hairline for a touch of color and pizzazz. Another idea is to pull the sides back into a half updo and situate it at your crown with one or two little clips.
A few more inches and your one-length style will skim your shoulders. Straighten the locks with the flat iron and turn the ends under slightly to create a sleek look. Go Bohemian with a double headband situated over your hair, just above your ears and below your hairline on your forehead. Pull your hair into frisky pigtails situated right behind your ears, and tie pretty ribbons around the hair bands.
Down the Back
Hair past your shoulders is technically long, so when your mane hits this length, you’ve got fierce styling going on. Use your length for big style variations, making curls one day and ramrod-straight locks the next day. Flip the ends up or under, depending on your mood. Your updo options are plentiful also, choosing between a half updo, bun, French twist, ponytail, braids and more.
