Get glowing with exfoliating scrubs featuring rich, all-natural oils. Scrubs containing emollient oils are a two-for-one deal in that they smooth and moisturize your skin at the same time. You can also use essential oils to add scent to the scrub, which will turn your skin treatment into a spa-like experience.

Olive Oil

Transform the olive oil in your kitchen cabinet into a skin-pampering exfoliating scrub. Olive oil is high in antioxidants and will penetrate your skin deeply, healing even the most parched and dry areas. Create a scrub with coarse sugar or sea salt, olive oil and honey, which will make the treatment even more hydrating.

Apricot Kernel Oil

Make your skin glow with a luxurious apricot kernel oil scrub. The oil, which is rich in essential fatty acids, will nourish and soothe your skin while leaving it with a soft, sweet scent. Blend the apricot kernel oil with sea salt or sugar and mashed avocado for an all-natural, skin-smoothing scrub.

Jojoba Oil

Get your skin ready for spring and summer with a jojoba oil-infused exfoliating scrub. Jojoba oil, which is extracted from the seeds of a jojoba plant, contains several types of skin-soothing tocopherols. Create a customized scrub that smells good enough to eat by combining jojoba oil with brown sugar, ground oatmeal, honey and vanilla extract.

Sweet Almond Oil

Sweet almond oil smells as delicious as it sounds and will infuse your skin with moisture. You can use the lightweight, highly absorbent oil as a base for any exfoliating scrub recipe. For an instant pick-me-up, combine sweet almond oil with sea salt or sugar, lemon juice and grated lemon zest. You can also use orange juice and peel if you prefer.
