Don't settle for dishwater blonde. Transform your tresses from drab to diva with highlights using natural ingredients from your kitchen that won't damage your locks the way chemicals can. Ingredients such as lemons and chamomile tea can work wonders to add subtle dimensions to your hair. Rock on, blonde bombshell!

Lemon Up

1.

Strain lemon juice through a fine sieve and dilute 1 tbsp. of lemon juice per 1 gallon of water. Pour into a spray bottle.

2.

Spritz dry hair, concentrating the mixture on the top of your head and around your face for a natural, sun-kissed look.

3.

Pour yourself a tall glass of lemonade and enjoy the sun while the lemon juice works its magic on your hair. The sun's rays enhance the effect of the lemon juice to give you soft, natural-looking highlights.

4.

Leave the lemon juice in your hair for up to an hour, then shampoo and condition as usual.

Time for Tea

1.

Go herbal! Prepare your own natural highlighting spa treatment at home by brewing very strong chamomile tea and spraying it evenly on dry hair.

2.

Gather hair on top of your head and put on a plastic cap or wrap your head with plastic wrap, leaving the chamomile tea solution on your hair for one hour or longer.

3.

Wrap a luxuriously hot towel around your head during the chamomile hair treatment to enhance the tea's natural highlighting effect. Replace with another warm towel every 15 minutes.

4.

Shampoo and condition your hair as usual. You'll have sexy new hair highlights that glimmer in the sun.
