Sure, your brown eyes are sexy, but if you want to make them really sparkle, give metallic eye shadow a try. Metallic eye shadow gives your eyes a sparkle, as well as an edgy look. But before you wear the sizzling shadow, you've got to know just how to rock it right.
Choose the Right Hue
Even though your brown eyes are beautiful, they won't look good with just any shade -- you have to choose one that is complementary to your mocha peepers. Chocolate brown, gray, navy and eggplant typically do the trick. To kick your makeup into high gear, give some spicy colors a try, such as tangerine, lime green or hot pink to really make your eyes the star of the show.
Application Techniques
Swipe your eye-shadow brush along your lid, making sure you cover the entire surface. Choose a shade that's lighter than the lid color, but in the same family, and sweep it over the brow bone. The two colors complement each other and will also add some punch to your peepers.
Edgy With Eyeliner
If you want to add extra drama to your eyes, line them with eyeliner. Draw a line directly above your top lashes and along your lower ones to rim your eyes and create a sexy contrast between the color of your eyes and the liner. Black, brown and gray typically look stunning with your chocolate eyes and give your peepers a sexy look.
Mascara Magic
One of the best ways to make your eyes more open and get them looking luxe, is to coat your lashes with mascara. Step up the drama by curling them first with a lash curler. Then choose a dark mascara to coat your lashes twice to make them look thick, long and super sexy. Get your swerve on with black mascara, or get creative by using blue or green for a fun look.
