Dive into the deep blue with a sensual navy blue makeup look. Navy blue, both glamorous and mysterious, can lend a hint of glamour to your makeup look, and is beautiful no matter your eye color. Add drama to your eyes that shimmers, sparkles and stuns with a beautiful deep blue hue.
Navy Blue Eyeliner
Opt for a different approach when it comes to lining your eyes. Steer away from your usual brown or black eyeliner and make a splash with navy blue. If you don't have a navy blue eyeliner, use a navy blue eyeshadow and an angled eyeshadow brush. Dampen the eyeshadow brush and dip it in the eyeshadow. For a simple daytime look, navy-lined eyes can work well for the office. Finish off the look with a few coats of mascara.
Dramatic Crease Defining Look
Use a flat shader eyeshadow brush and apply a light blue eyeshadow all over the lid. This look will gently fade into navy blue for a beautiful effect that accentuates the contours of your sparkling peepers. Dip a crease brush in a medium-blue shade and run it back and forth in the crease (the most hollow part of your eye) like a windshield wiper. Using the same brush, dip the brush in a navy blue eyeshadow and use it to define the outer crease of the eye. For extra drama, blend the crease up and outward to create a cat-eye effect. Line the eyes with black or navy blue eyeliner and finish with mascara.
Navy Blue Aquatic Eyes
For an aquatic-inspired style, greens and blues will come together to create a highly blended eyeshadow look. Place a sparkly light beige or ivory eyeshadow all over the lid with a flat shader brush. Use a crease brush and a light green eyeshadow to accentuate the crease. Place a bit of sparkly white eyeshadow underneath the brown bone. Line the upper and lower lash lines with a vivid navy blue eyeliner and voila!
Navy Blue Dimension
When neutral tones and navy blue come together in a highly blended look, the result is gorgeous dimension that brings out the eyes. A sparkly chocolate brown eyeshadow can be applied all over the lid with a flat brush. Apply the eyeshadow high into the crease. Layer a navy blue on top of the brown eyeshadow and blend it with a blending brush. Highlight the brow bone and apply a navy blue liquid liner. Apply mascara and false lashes for an even more dramatic look.
