Fight oil-induced shine with makeup blotting tissue. If you lug around your makeup to do touch-ups on-the-go, you can stop right now. Makeup blotting tissues allow you to sop up any excess oil without disturbing your makeup. These little bad boys are little helpers for anyone plagued with oily skin issues.

1.

Remove a makeup blotting tissue from the packaging. Most blotting tissue comes in individual pieces although some require you to manually cut sheets. If you do need to cut a sheet, use clean hands and clean scissors.

2.

Press the makeup blotting tissue onto shiny areas of your face. The most common shine-producing zones include the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin). Do not rub the tissue against your skin, but instead blot it to absorb the oil without disturbing your makeup.

3.

Reuse any clean areas of the blotting tissue (the areas where oil has not been absorbed) to blot the other areas of your face. It is not usually necessary to use more than one makeup blotting tissue.

4.

Toss the makeup blotting tissue in the trash.
