As if it wasn’t tough enough to find the perfect bra when you’re a busty belle, finding clothes that fit neatly around those bosoms can be just as challenging. When your cup size advances beyond the A, B, Cs, blouses can gap and you may have trouble pulling the waist part of a dress down over those bodacious ta-tas. That’s where the wrap dress comes in. With a little pull here and a wee tug there, wrap dresses are ideal for a woman who falls into the well-endowed category.

1.

Shop for both your traditional size and the next size up to determine which fits you better around the back and in the shoulders. A dress that fits comfortably in these areas will wrap best around your ample bust. If the dress is too long because of the size you’ve purchased, have it hemmed to hit at or above the knee.

2.

Place your arms in each sleeve so that the dress gaps open in front, showing your girls to the world, or at least to the world inside the room where you're changing.

3.

Adhere a strip of fashion tape to each bra cup. Place each tape strip on the part of the cup that forms the center "V." If your breasts are of the extra-extra large variety, consider sticking two tape strips to each cup for better placement.

4.

Pull the longer tie through the small slit in the dress. Each dress is different, so the longer tie may be on the right or left side. Continue pulling the tie through the slit, which pulls the panel halfway across your body.

5.

Fit the top of the dress to the tape on the covered bra cup, ensuring that it covers your breast fully.

6.

Wrap the tie around your back until it returns to the front.

7.

Pull the other panel across the exposed part of your body, securing it into place by adhering it to the fashion tape.

8.

Cross the ties over each other and pull them taut before creating a knot or bow to hold the dress in place. The bow is on either the right or left side of your body.

Tips & Tricks

You can also use the fashion tape to hold the dress closed across your thighs so it doesn’t fly open with the wind or a sudden turn of your body.

If your bra has lace on it, move the fashion tape to the smooth part of your bra. If the bra is full lace, change out that puppy for a smoother option or the tape won’t adhere properly.
