The perfect eyebrow arch can complement your features and draw attention to your eyes, really making them pop. If you have decided to trade in your tweezers and take a stab at waxing, don't rush off to the beauty supply store just yet. Instead, mix up a batch of brown sugar wax, which is not only convenient, but just as effective as the expensive salon brands. Your homemade wax will help you tame your 'brows in no time.

Pour 1 cup of brown sugar into a small saucepan. Add 1/4 cup honey and 1/2 cup of lemon juice to the brown sugar.

Combine all the ingredients using a metal whisk. Place the saucepan on your stovetop and turn the burner on low heat.

Bring the sugar mix to a boil, stirring the entire time with a wooden spoon. Switch the saucepan to a cool burner once it boils, and shut the hot burner off.

Spoon the sugar mix into a small, microwavable bowl that has a secure lid. Allow the mixture to cool until it is slightly warm to the touch and the consistency of thick syrup.

Spread the sugar over the unwanted hair around your eyebrows using a wooden craft stick. Place a piece of muslin over the wax. Pull the muslin off in one quick, fluid motion to remove the hair.

Cover the bowl with its matching lid. Store any unused sugar wax in the refrigerator. It will keep for up to two weeks.
