Believe it or not, the pores on your legs can become clogged. As if shaving and moisturizing them regularly wasn't enough work, now you have to keep your pores clear. Sounds like fun, huh? No worries, though. Unclogging your pores is quite simple and can give your legs a healthy glow.

Dead skin and oil usually clog your facial pores, but sweat is often the culprit when it comes to clogging leg pores. These clogged pores can look like white bumps or black specks, depending on the type of clog.
Clothing Culprit
Your legs sweat normally, but wearing a certain types of clothing accentuate this. Seriously tight pants can cause your legs to heat up, resulting in sweating and chaffing. This "uncool" practice often leads to clogged pores, which result in unsightly pimples on your legs.
Lotions for Clogged Pores
To combat clogged pores use an exfoliating lotion on your legs. Look for products that contain ingredients like glycolic or salicylic acid, which encourage the sloughing of dead skin cells. Once this happens, your body returns to its normal skin-cell replacement cycle.
Preventing Clogged Pores
Once your pores are unclogged, you'll want to keep them that way. Find a moisturizer labeled "non comedogenic," which means it won't clog them. Keeping your legs clean by washing them daily with a mild cleanser also helps in the fight against clogged pores, as does wearing lose clothing and breathable fabrics on your legs, like cotton.
