Yes, it is possible to have all-day coverage and still have beautiful, glossy lips. Try Lorac's Co-Star Lip Gloss. It is available in five shades. Lorac promises eight hours of ultra-shiny color in this nondrying formula. Lorac recommends that you start with clean, dry lips. Apply lip color and allow one minute to dry. Then top with the Ultra Glossy Top Coat for maximum all-day shine.
Soft and Smooth Lips
In the past, long-lasting lip color was drying and dull. Now you can have soft and smooth lips all day long. Stila's long-wear lip color comes in 17 shades. This formula is a blend of lipstick and lip gloss. According to Stila, it's "a blend of patent-pending polymers that provide long-lasting wear with rich pigment that glides on like your favorite gloss. The tip of the pen is contoured to provide easy, precise application."
Infallible Lips
L'Oreal's take on long-lasting is its 16-hour "Never Fail" lip color. Available in 12 shades, it is reformulated to provide maximum coverage that won't fade or dry out. The formula contains collagen and vitamin E for moisture. The packaging has its own mirror. The Infallible Lip collection also comes in a lip gloss.
All Day Color
Most long-wearing formulas have two steps. Revlon's ColorStay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick is a one-step formula. Revlon says it doesn't feather or fade, and that no touch-ups are required, even after meals. It comes in 20 "soft satin" shades.
