Riding boots make your legs look killer and your outfit totally fashionable. Sure, they go great with a pair of skinny jeans tucked inside, but they also look equally as stylish with a skirt. However, you may be unsure of what length the skirt should be. Fortunately, it's not too hard to figure out and once you know, you'll look totally smokin' in a chic ensemble.

Full Skirts

If your mid-length skirt has a little va-va-voom to it, riding boots likely make the perfect companion. Just be sure to go with a skirt with a hem that falls just over the top of the boots. Doing so gives you a refined look that is perfect for work or play. Wear a dress with these boots, or pair a mid-length skirt with a blouse or sweater.

Tight-Fitting Skirts

A tight-fitting skirt with a pair of riding boots is an oh-so-sexy look that shows off your legs, as well as your shape. Fitted skirts look best with a pair of riding boots that fall a little bit below the hem -- you'll want a couple of inches of skin showing between the skirt and boots. If your fitted skirt sits on top of the boots, you'll look too covered and squeezed into your ensemble. Showing a little skin keeps your look sizzlin' and stylin' at the same time.

Long Skirts

Channel your inner bohemian chic by donning a long skirt with riding boots. This look gives off a natural vibe that looks good at any occasion. The skirt should hit just around the top of your foot. This length allows you to move around without tripping over your skirt. Long skirts and boots are a classic combination, which can be worn year 'round.

Other Looks for Riding Boots

There's something super sexy about a chick wearing a pair of jeans and boots. Skinny jeans look totally hip when tucked into a pair of riding boots. Skinny leggings also look just as fashionable when pushed into the boots. You can wear a pair of boot-cut jeans over the boots, but then you'll hide them, which isn't cool -- showing off your boots is the main reason you are wearing them. Instead go with pants that put them on display and make you the most envied fashionista in town.
