You've always been inspired by runway fashion and your hair is no exception. That bob hairstyle you're rocking has all the attitude of Anna Wintour with a touch of Katie Holmes' sweetness. When you did the big chop, you didn't realize keeping your hair straight in this style would be such a hassle! Bobs works best with straight hair since the cut is so geometric and structured. If your hair is naturally curly or wavy, don't fret. The proper techniques and products will keep your bob straight and sassy all day long.

Wash and condition your hair with moisturizing products to hydrate your hair and prevent it from getting frizzy. A frizzy bob tents out from your head, giving you the dreaded "triangle head." Tell that frizz who's boss.

Towel dry your hair and add a quarter-sized amount of straightening balm to your hair. Work the product through the lengths and tips of your hair. This will weigh hair down and help it stay straight all day long.

Select a 1-inch piece of hair. Place your round brush on the underside of the section right next to the scalp.

Aim the nozzle of the hair dryer at the hair on the round brush and blast with high heat. Draw the brush through your hair while blasting with the hair dryer. Brush and blast, baby! When you get to the end of the section, curl the brush slightly inward so that the hair frames your face.

Continue drying 1-inch sections of hair until your entire head is dry. Avoid using sections thicker than 1-inch as the hot air will not be able to penetrate and properly dry the hair. If hair is left damp in places, it will curl as it dries throughout the day. Stop those sneaky curls in their tracks.

Select a 1-inch piece of hair. Clamp the flat iron down on the hair next to the scalp. Draw the flat iron slowly through your hair. When you reach the end, curl the iron slightly inward to create the bob shape.

Continue flat ironing your entire head. This will lock in the stick-straight texture and give your hair shine.

Spritz your hair with a shine serum to give your bob a glossy, polished finish. Avoid products with water listed in the first five ingredients. Adding water to your hair will cause it to curl up again and that's the last thing you want.
