A dewy fresh face might be pretty, but a seriously sweaty face isn't a good look. If you have a tendency to sweat through your foundation, it's likely wearing off before the day's end. Stay flawless throughout the day and into the night by choosing products designed to counteract humidity and perspiration.
1.
Apply a silicone-based primer to clean skin. Silicone-based primers create a canvas for foundation to adhere to; many also contain antioxidants such as vitamin C. If you normally apply moisturizer before foundation, apply it before smoothing on primer. Just make sure it's a lightweight lotion and not a heavy, greasy cream.
2.
Smooth long-wearing foundation over primer. To prevent your foundation from streaking or running due to perspiration, choose a water-resistant formula.
3.
Brush on loose powder. Loose powder applied over foundation will set it and make it long-wearing. Dip your powder brush into loose powder and tap it to get rid of any excess before applying. For extra perspiration control, use a matte powder.
4.
Carry pressed powder for touch-ups. Applying matte or oil-control pressed powder with a powder puff will help your foundation stay put throughout the day, particularly if you sweat.
