Your bras and panties may not be visible to the world, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't look great. Even if you're just lounging around the house in sweats or headed to work in a uniform that's not the most flattering thing in your closet, wearing something pretty underneath can give you a confidence boost that keeps going all day. It's not an easy job, supporting you while also keeping you comfortable, so make sure to pamper your bras and panties to keep them looking new.
Check the label on your bras and panties to see what water temperature the manufacturer recommends for washing them. If it isn't specified, use cold water.
Fill a sink halfway with water and add a capful of delicate laundry detergent.
Immerse your bras and panties fully in the water and gently work the soapy water through them with your hands.
Rinse your bras and panties well in cold water. Blot them with a towel to remove excess water; don't wring them out.
Lay your bras and panties flat on a towel to dry or drape them over the dowels of a drying rack.
Treat any stains -- hey, Mother Nature happens! -- quickly. Rinse in cold water as soon as possible, then hand wash as directed above.
If you have to machine wash your bras and panties, always use a lingerie bag and wash them in the delicate cycle. Never machine dry you lingerie; this will damage the elastic and reduce the life span of your pretty things.
