White has a bum rap for being too restrictive; you can't wear it after Labor Day, you can't mix and match shades of white, you can't do this and you can't do that when it comes to white fashion. Forget about the rules and make your own! White shoes in particular look fabulous at any time of the year and are especially chic when worn with your favorite pair of jeans.

Dark Denim With Wide-Legged Features

The contrast between denim and the white hue of the shoe is dramatic, which is why this pairing is so perfect. Add some bursts of color to your outfit with a brightly colored top, such as a apple red tunic or a jewel-toned green off-shoulder top. You might also try a simple tank with a funky design on the front and pair it all with a pair of white wedge sandals, which complement the wide-leg feature of the jeans.

Skinny Jeans

Skinny jeans in any rinse look fabulous with a pair of white strappy sandals or super high-heeled pumps. The shoe should be minimal to match the tightness of the jeans. This outfit is best for after-hours activities, such as cocktails with the girls or club night. Be even more daring and do a hip-hugging tube top to really show off your curves. Accessorize with chunky jewelry or layers and layers of silver or gold for extra pizazz.

Distressed Denim

Looking disheveled on purpose is oh-so-sexy, and nothing accomplishes this better than some strategically-placed bed head and a pair of distressed jeans. Holes in the knees or severe stresses in the denim just beg for a fitted tee. Keep the focus on your jeans and less on your shoes, which means a white sandal or canvas shoe is your best bet here. You could even add to the casual nature of this outfit with a funky white flip-flop.

Light-Washed Boot Cut Denim

These boots are made of walking, and your best fashionista strut is what you are going to do in light-washed denim and white shoes, perhaps ankle boots for added style. So that you don't overload on white, pick hue for your top, such as sky blue or a pale pink. Funk it up with a blazer if your boot has a sexy high heel or a cotton hoodie for a boot with no heel. Add some extra embellishment to the look by choosing a button down top with a ruffle down the middle.
