Brown boots are a neutral classic, which means you have a lot of options for jackets. Whether you need to go conservative or you're looking for something that will add a touch of glamour to those boots, your sartorial imagination is the limit.
School Boy
There's something about androgynous dressing that's sexy in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way, even if it errs on the side of conservative. Put on some schoolboy charm and slip into a blazer with gold-button details. Go all the way and add a crisp white button-up with a tie, or keep it toned down with a slouchy tee. A pair of skinny jeans is perfect on the bottom. Don't forget your brown riding boots.
Leather
When it comes to pairing brown leather boots with a leather jacket, you've got to keep one thing in mind: Contrast is key. If your jacket is the same shade of brown that your boots are you risk looking too matchy-matchy. Keep the look interesting by pairing a fitted leather jacket in black or taupe with your boots. Keep your other pieces simple; try leggings and a tunic with a chic scarf.
Trench
Nothing says "classic" like a trench coat. Burberry's trench will run you hundreds of dollars, but you don't have to spend that much. Thankfully, retailers are making them in virtually every price point and in a host of colors. For your first trench, stick to khaki. What you have on under your trench and boots is up to you. But such a classic piece calls for an overall streamlined look.
Sequins
Who says that your jacket has to be traditional or that brown boots have to be casual day wear? A touch of sparkle by way of a sequined jacket adds quirky personality to the everyday brown boot, making it fun for day or night. Navy and silver sequins will complement brown and black. Try pairing opaque tights with your boots and a body-hugging LBD.
