1.
Chase away any signs of ashy skin by keeping things moisturized. Dry skin is typically obvious on gals with dark skin tones because dead skin cells look gray. Those light cells paired against dark skin create an ash effect that sticks out like a pair of knockoff Louis Vuitton shoes -- not something you want people to know you have. To keep ashy skin at a minimum, moisturize as much as you can with rich, thick lotions and creams. These products work particularly well when rubbed against damp skin, such as after you bathe or wash your hands. If your dry skin is resistant to change, sleep with a humidifier in your room.
2.
Banish dark spots from your foxy face with salicylic acid. These unsightly areas typically occur as a result of acne or other trauma to your sexy skin. Lighten up the spots you have and prevent additional skin saboteurs from occurring by washing with cleanser twice daily that contains salicylic acid. You can also apply a topical remedy that contains the awesome acid, as well as a brown spot-lightening ingredient, such as a mask.
3.
Halt ingrown hairs by using products that lure the trapped hairs out of your skin. Ingrown hairs are typically caused when coarse, curved hair gets stuck and cannot penetrate through the skin. As if that doesn't sound bad enough, they can cause dark spots and infection. Prevent these less than glamorous events from occurring with exfoliating and anti-inflammatory products that can coax the wild hairs out of the skin gently.
