Concerts are your time to rock out to your favorite singers, so you'll want to look and feel fabulous in your outfit. When in doubt, think about the concert venue, the style of music, and the weather. Incorporate accessories into your look, and don't be afraid to go a little crazy on makeup. You may only be there to watch the show, but you still want to feel like a star.
Indie Rocker
If you are heading to a rock concert, pair a graphic tee with distressed jeans and boots. Most rock concerts are held in standing venues, so consider function. Flat leather boots are just as fashionable as four-inch stiletto heels, but a lot more comfortable. For a slightly more elegant look, opt for dark denim or black skinny jeans, which will also lengthen and slim the appearance of your legs. Add a fedora hat for a downtown hipster look.
Pop Princess
A lot of pop concerts are held at huge pavilions, with many fans dressing in bold outfits, so don't be afraid to get a little crazy at these shows. Jeans are always a safe bet, but for a more feminine look, wear a flirty mini dress and Converse shoes and add a statement necklace. Heels are appropriate for pop concerts, but remember that you will probably be standing and singing most of the night, so you may want to wear a pair of ballet flats, instead.
Country Crooner
Heading to an outdoor country concert this summer? Then it's time to bust out that vintage pair of cowgirl boots in the back of your closet and rock some "Daisy Dukes." Pair a distressed pair of jean shorts or skirt with a plaid button-down, and throw on a cowgirl hat to complete the look. For an indoor concert during the winter, replace shorts with jeans and wear a long-sleeved blouse over a fitted tank. Let your hair go wild by wearing it down, or keep it simple in a loose braid.
Show Stopper
Whether you are going to a rock, pop or country concert, there are a few items that will always add glam to your ensemble. A colorful top always makes a statement, and wears well over a simple pair of jeans or black leggings. Long-chain statement necklaces are attention grabbers and help define your personal style even in a sea of music fans. Studded black heels, thick, banded bracelets and bold lipstick can also alter your look without much effort.
