By night, pajamas keep you comfortable and warm, but they may clutter your bedroom by day. Keep your bedroom clean and organized by getting creative with your pajama storage. If you usually throw your sleepwear on the floor, there's a better option. You can repurpose everyday items into inspired storage solutions using a little imagination.
Baskets
If your home has a country-inspired or shabby chic look, turn wicker baskets into pajama storage. Although the baskets are more commonly used for holding sewing supplies or even towels in the bathroom, they can look just as at home in your bedroom. Turn a basket on its side and stack a few more on top for added storage. Neatly fold your sleepwear and place it inside the baskets as you would with drawers.
Stacked Suitcases
To give your bedroom a charming vintage appeal, use antique suitcases as storage. Look for leather cases featuring travel- and passport-inspired decals for an authentic look. Fold the pajamas and place them inside the suitcase. If you have several pair that you want to store, use more than one suitcase and stack them beside your bed as a creative nightstand.
Ladder Rack
If you've got an eye-catching bamboo or vintage wood ladder taking up space in your garage, dust it off and put it to use as pajama storage. Prop the ladder against a bedroom wall and drape your sleepwear -- such as pants, tops and lingerie -- over the rungs. You can even paint a wooden ladder a bright color, such as yellow or red, to match your room.
Wall Hook
Express your personality or home design style with a wall hook that works double duty as bedroom decor. You can find hooks in shapes such as seashells, teacups or flowers. Go modern with sleek silver hooks, or quaint with vintage crystal hooks. Hang your pajamas from the hooks rather than tossing them on the floor when you get up in the morning.
