Every woman wants to feel wanted, and nothing screams sexy quite like a head-turning hair color. But chemical-based dyes can turn tempting tresses into a faded, tangled mess. Forget traditional conditioners; they only strip your hair of its hard-earned color and shine. Show your locks some much-needed love with a homemade conditioning treatment. Natural ingredients fortify your follicles with protective plant oils and moisturizing vitamins your hair needs to stay silky-smooth and touchably soft!

Wow the Crowd Conditioner

As a woman, changing your hair color isn't a privilege -- it's a right! Unfortunately, too much of a good thing can lead to brittle, straw-like strands. For a softening conditioner sure to satisfy any shade, mix one cup jojoba oil with 2 tsp. brown sugar, 5 drops rosemary essential oil, 5 drops sage essential oil and 5 drops tea tree essential oil. For lighter hues, add 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice; for darker colors, swap in apple cider vinegar. Mix well and massage evenly from roots to tips for a frizz-free satin sheen.

Bombshell Blonde Conditioner

Nothing's worse than watching your designer blonde shade fade into its own trashy knockoff. Maintain your couture coif with this fresh herbal conditioner. Lemon and chamomile play up blonde highlights while protein-rich yogurt strengthens your strands. Steep 6 chamomile tea bags in 1 cup boiling water. Strain the cooled liquid and mix with 1/2 cup plain yogurt. Add 5 drops lemon essential oil or 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice. Mix well and massage into hair after shampooing. Rinse with warm water for a fab that won't fade!

Brunette Beauty Serum

Heads up, brunette beauties: this deliciously sweet conditioner will keep your hot new hue from losing its luster. In a small saucepan, mix 2 cups purified water with 5 tbsp. dark roast ground coffee. Boil 10 minutes, then carefully mix in 5 tbsp. dark chocolate. Stir until chocolate melts, then remove from heat. Lather your cooled conditioner into clean hair, then tuck your tresses under a shower cap. Allow 10 minutes for the nutrient-rich color-enhancers to penetrate your lucky locks, then rinse with warm water.

Ruby Blues Conditioner

Red is one statement-making shade, but it's also the quickest to fade. Preserve your sultry strands with this luscious conditioning treatment. Fresh herbs brighten your ruby hue while moisturizing olive oil hydrates dry strands. Bring 1 cup distilled water to a boil, then stir in 1 tbsp. alkanet root and 2 tbsp. ground cinnamon. Simmer for 10 minutes, remove from heat and let cool. Mix 1/2 cup olive oil into your herbal infusion and saturate strands after shampooing. Apply nightly for a smokin' hot mane that will definitely leave him seeing red!
