You love your color. It's full of light brown and blond highlights and it looks absolutely stunning on you. There's no point in being thrilled over your new highlighted 'do, though, if you're covering the highlights up and not showing them off in all their glory. It's all about choosing the right hairstyle, and there are a few really chic styles that work particularly well.

Long Locks

Styling your hair long and straight a la Victoria Beckham is one of the best ways to show off highlights. Highlights are thin streaks of color in your hair, in a vertical direction, so when your hair is long and straight, you can literally see every almost single highlight. After straightening, finish with a bit of smoothing serum to really make your highlighted hair stand out.

Angled Bob

An angled bob is a great option for gals with highlighted hair. Whether you had your whole head of hair highlighted or got more of a dip-dyed look with only some of the ends colored, a bob shape displays highlights wonderfully, because of the longer pieces at the front and more voluminous crown section.

Half-Updo

Whether you include just a few inches of hair from the top of your head or the entire top section, a half-updo style like this shows off not only the highlights on top of your hair, but also those underneath. You can straighten your hair or have it curly with this style, and it takes literally minutes to do; use bobby pins over the hair to keep the top section pinned up out of the way.

Shag

A shaggy cut that has shorter, choppy layers is a fun, more relaxed style, but still one that is going to show off your light brown and blond highlights amazingly. A sort of take on the emo style, the shag cut shows off highlights so well because of the more dramatic difference between the layers, so even when your hair is down straight, you can see the different layers of color in your hair.
