When you were little, everyone wanted to pinch and kiss those sweet, little cheek bones of yours. By middle school, you were probably teased for not having eyes when you smiled. But high cheek bones are hot. They are great accessories to a pretty smile and there are hairstyles that will accentuate these great features.
Just about any hairstyle that is pulled off your face, like the bun, is a great way to bring attention to your best facial features, such as your high cheek bones. The bun can be worn many different ways: loose, tight, with a braid, big and small. You can easily accomplish this look yourself. Pull your hair back as far and tight as you want. If you need more hair to add shape to your ball, use synthetic hair to fill the middle and cover the rest with your real hair. Mist with texturizing spray to keep it intact. You can wear a bun for a casual day shopping, then make it fancy for a night on the town.
The Mushroom Bob
You will get a two-in-one with this style: bob and bangs. The way the bangs and bob is cut will draw attention right to your high cheek bones. The mushroom bob is a great retro look that can be worn short or long. If you don't want to chop off your locks, consider a side-swept bang that will still give you the mushroom look. Part your bangs in the front and let the rest of your hair hang down straight or in curls. If the style is too simple, consider adding colored tracks to give you a two-toned look.
The Razor Bangs
Bangs highlight your facial features such as your eyes and cheeks. Anything that falls near or on your face brings attention to your face and its best features. Razor cut bangs are a great style specifically to bring attention to your high cheek bones. If you want to accomplish this messy, interesting look yourself, use a razor comb. Part your hair vertically down and cut at a 45-degree angle. If want to consult a professional, that's fine as well. After you get it, the look requires low maintenance.
Curls sweeping across your face or hanging down your back would be a great style to show off your cheek bones. When you go curly, the "young, innocent" perception comes into play, especially because of your high cheek bones. The curls can be tight or loose. If the curls are tighter, therefore smaller and closer to your face, you will have a more youthful look than the older, sexier look you may accomplish with longer curly strands. Use a heated hair curler, perm or hair rollers to achieve this look.
