Blowouts can be fab, but all that heat applied constantly on your hair can be damaging. If you want to skip the blowout but still want enviable tresses, you'll be thrilled to know that there are tons of looks that can be pulled off without a blow dryer.
Chignon
Work your hair into a totally elegant yet super easy chignon. If you want to make yours a little messy, try adding mousse to damp hair and twisting it into a bun, securing with bobby pins, letting it air dry. If your hair is a little more prone to frizz, start on dry hair and just haphazardly pin it up. You can pull this look off on naturally curly or straight locks.
Messy Braid
If a messy chignon isn't for you, try a messy braid instead. Spray dry hair with beach spray and add a little bit of pomade to give locks a rougher texture. Follow up by gently teasing hair before pulling it to the side and braiding it up. Let loose pieces hang where they may. The idea is for your hair not to look polished.
Roller Set
Give yourself curls that'll last with a good-old roller set. Spritz damp hair with setting lotion. Then roll section of hair up and sit under a hooded dryer until curls are dry. Drying time will depend on the length and texture of your hair, but to be safe, wait at least 25 to 30 minutes before checking hair. Once hair is dry, remove your rollers and use fingers to loosen curls. The look should last you until your next wash.
Surfer Waves
Try this style to avoid putting any heat on your hair at all. You'll let your hair air dry while you sleep instead of using a blow dryer. Apply mousse to damp locks. Then, separate hair into four even sections and braid it up. Wrap a scarf around hair to keep it from frizzing overnight. When you wake up, undo your braids and run your fingers through your hair. You'll have sexy waves that look like you just spent a fabulous day on the beach.
