Believe it or not, there are actually some styles that look better on unwashed hair. If you're not sure which ones look best on freshly washed locks, learn a few looks that look amazing on just-shampooed hair. From casual to trendy, to fashion-forward, there are tons of different styles for your squeaky-clean tresses.
Pulled-Back Updo
This more avant-garde take on a pretty ballerina-esque style is super romantic and totally feminine. After washing hair, towel dry it. Then spritz it with a texturizing spray. Blow dry hair, brushing it back. Now take sections -- try about five -- of hair and pin them toward the center of the head, using bobby pins to secure. Finish off by taking a fabric head band or ribbon and pushing it back to the crown of the head.
Soft Curls
Work gorgeous, shiny, soft curls in just a few steps. Wash and towel dry hair. Then run a bit of mousse through it. Now blow dry hair and then pin curl it. To pin curl, just loosely roll sections of hair up and bobby pin them in place. Once all of your hair is completely cool, remove your pin curls and do a once over of each of them with a 1-inch curling iron. Add a bit of hairspray to keep curls in place and you're all set.
Wet to Dry
Want to skip a step but still end up with amazing hair? Head over to your local drugstore and buy yourself a wet-to-dry ceramic flat iron. After washing and towel-drying hair, spray it with a heat protectant spray. Then, use your wet-to-dry iron to flat iron hair as you would if it were already dry. It'll seal in moisture, leaving your hair perfectly straight, hydrated and healthy.
Two Styles in One
If you're really short on time, skip the blow dryer. Instead, spritz hair with beach spray. Brush it back and then twist it until it forms a bun, securing it with bobby pins. Wear your hair in your bun throughout the day until it's dry. Once dry, let your bun down. Your hair will be gorgeous and wavy, making it the perfect look for a night out.
