Now that you've finally decided on platinum blonde rather than strawberry red for your new hair color, it's time for an even bigger challenge: the hairstyle. There a variety of styles that can enhance your new color. Whether you want to rock your strands short or long, down or in an updo, certain looks will pair more perfectly than others with your new color, garnering you lots of "oohs" and "aahs."

Caesar Cut

You will be making two bold statements with your super short cut and daring color. This low-maintenance style will instantly bring out the fab and fierce kitten inside of you. Even if your color is as basic as black or simple as brown, you'll turn heads. This cut works great for color because it's subtle, thanks to strands that are almost non-existent. However, it's also a standout for the same reason, which allows the color to really set this look off. Rock your signature lipstick and you're good to go.

Pixie Strands

You have to go super short to be fierce. Consider a pixie cut that's also low maintenance but involves longer strands than a caesar cut. For a pixie, your colored tresses will be flipped all over for a messy, cute look. You can sport a pixie in different ways -- tousled in the middle, flipped bang, or sleek sides with spiky strands in different places that will create a haute look for your colored tresses.

Shag Style

If you're more of a "long hair, don't care" woman, then keep your strands having to your shoulder in a shag style. A shag style is like the pixie cut's long lost sister. Your strands are flipped in tousled in a messy, cute way but locks are longer.

Au Naturel Curls

If you've got natural curl, you've got lots of options -- lucky you! Adding color to your natural curls is a hair-healthy way to put hair it the spotlight. You can sport your natural locks volumized, wavy, in pin curls down, in a ponytail or with some strands up and some down. Showing off a new color with a huge diva style will also make a bold hair statement.
