All women in their 30s should give themselves a hand clap. Don't freak out when you hear the word "aging." Celebrate this major milestone and look fabulous doing it. At this age, women need a haircut with a triple threat. It should be youthful, soften the features (eyes and jawline) and brighten the complexion. Get your hair cut into a long bob or layers -- and rock through your 30s with confidence.

Blunt Lob

Youthfulness is just what the "hair doctor" ordered with this style. The blunt lob, or long bob, is cut in one length all around the head and has no layers. Use a flat iron on wet hair to smooth out the strands. Celebrity stylist Renato Campora recommends this style because it is easy and rests right at the neck, making it appear longer, according to an article in "InStyle." Wear a center part for a more youthful look that opens up the eyes. Play up the versatility with a side part, wavy curls or a low bun.

Choppy Lob

A girl in her 30s can have a bit of a rocker vibe with this choppy long bob. You can get up and go with effortless style. Let wet hair air-dry and use fingers to shag out the ends. "InStyle" reports that stylist Mark Townsend suggests the layers in the front should be long and no shorter than an inch above the chin. Flaws are a no-show because all attention is on the edgy, sheared strands.

Long Layers

Straight long locks can make you look older, so layers are the way to go. Use a medium-sized curling iron to create ringlets. Comb out the curls with a round brush. Conceal any gray hairs and warm the complexion with highlights. Don't go more than two shades lighter than your natural color. Focus the highlights on the layers that frame the face as well as the shoulder-grazing strands. This helps to lighten the complexion and eyes while softening the jawline.

Chin-Length Layers

A chin-length cut is like an instant fountain of youth. It lifts the jaw and eye area. A professional should cut the hair in layers with the shorter lengths toward the face. Blow-dry hair and curl with a small curling iron. Wrap the hair around the iron from tip to root. Let the hair cool for no longer than 10 minutes. Use your fingers to pull the curls downward, creating a soft wave. Waves in your hair soften your features, giving you a vibrant complexion.
