Finding cute styles for your tresses can be tricky. If you're looking for something to do with your straight hair and bangs, you're in luck because there are plenty of fashionable styles for you to whip your hair into. Just learn a few of them and make your bangs and straight hair much more versatile.
Pumped-Up Ponytail
Pull your straight locks back in a styled ponytail. Apply smoothing cream to the top part of your hair before combing it back -- make sure to leave your bangs free. Pull your hair into a tight ponytail and secure it with an elastic band. Then, take a section of hair and wrap it around the base of your ponytail, pinning it in place under the pony with a bobby pin or two.
Chignon
This style is just as simple as the ponytail. You'll create yours exactly the same way as you did your pony except you'll twist your hair until it forms a bun and pin it in place with bobby pins. Wear yours at the nape of the neck, crown of the head or pulled over to the side. It looks just as fab loose and a bit messy as it does perfectly polished -- so take your pick.
Braided Bang
If you want to get your bangs out of your face for a bit, try braiding them. Just part your hair on the side and French braid it starting at the part, along the hairline a few inches. Bobby-pin your braid in place and you're all set. Keep your hair straight and down or wear your braid with your ponytail or bun.
Embrace the Straight
Straight hair can look fantastic all by itself, with no embellishments or trimmings. The key is to make it look intentionally straight. Add a bit of smoothing serum to damp locks and blow-dry them using a flat brush. If your hair is prone to frizz, follow up with a flat iron to get tresses extra straight. Use your flat iron to bend your bangs slightly under and you're all set.
