Thick lashes are hot. Clumpy, spidery lashes are definitely not. Score major volume without the unsightly clumps by picking the right mascara. There are plenty of brands out there that claim to thicken your lashes. Make sure you've got one that not only plumps your lashes, but separates them -- and say bye-bye to the mess and hello to beautiful, natural-looking lashes instead.
Lancome Hypnose Mascara
A favorite over at "Lucky" magazine, Lancome Hypnose Mascara "thickens without causing that spider-leg effect," says editorial associate, Jenna Gottlieb. The product glides on nice and creamy and makes your lashes look way thicker. Not only that, but the product also uses B5 to condition, so your lashes will stay healthy while looking fab.
Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara
Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes Mascara "doesn't clump or get crusty," claims "Allure" magazine. The mascara looks a bit different. It's got a tiny, sphere-shaped brush, so practice using it a bit first, but once you've got it down, the results are glorious. Comb lashes from root to tip and they'll come out looking "lush, fanned out, and almost fake (in a good way)," states the "Allure" review.
Max Factor Volume Couture
An "InStyle" magazine Editors' Pick 2007, the key to Max Factor Volume Couture's process is the combination of the thickening formula and brush. The actual mascara plumps your lashes up to drool-worthy proportions, while the brush separates as you glide the formula on. The result is natural but totally defined eyelashes.
Too Faced Lash Injection Extreme Thickening, Tube-Building Mascara
Another favorite of "Allure" magazine, Too Faced Lash Injection Extreme Thickening, Tube-Building Mascara gives you voluminous and long lashes. The product glides onto lashes smoothly and won't smudge or flake for hours, so no need to reapply. Plus, of course, the mascara won't clump at all, so you've got gorgeous, natural-looking, pumped-up lashes.
