Do you have an oval face shape? If so, consider yourself lucky, since the even proportions of an oval face give you the option to pick virtually any hairstyle. However, since you also have thin hair, ensure you find a hairstyle that will add volume and body to enhance the look of your naturally thin tresses.

Short Style

Go with a bob for a chic and stylish short hairstyle for your thin hair. Not only will this short ‘do give the illusion of thicker tresses, it is also a cinch to style. An A-line bob or other chin-length bob is ideal -- and if the haircut is a good one, it requires very little styling on your part.

Medium Style

Valerie Monroe for “O Magazine” suggests going for a shoulder length bob if you want a medium-length hairstyle. Have your stylist add in a few layers to give you lift, volume and a bit of body. The secret is in the styling, so ensure you use hair products designed specifically for fine or thin hair. A round brush used during blow drying can add even more "oomph" to your shoulder-length look.

Longer Locks

Although longer styles can sometimes just draw attention to your thinning hair, if you take a few things into consideration, you can wear longer looks with confidence. First, if you are working with your natural hair, have your stylist cut your hair into a blunt, straight-across style. Also, keep your long locks just below your shoulders and no longer. Highlighting, lowlighting and other color techniques can also help to create visual depth, making your hair appear thicker than it actually is.

Bangs

Again, since you have an oval face, almost any fringe style will do. However, long layers in the form of face-framing fringe or the side-swept variety will help flatter almost any hairstyle (long or short) that you choose.
