It can be hard to find a foundation with just enough shine to make your skin glow but not make it look greasy. The wrong foundation will make you look like you just got off the treadmill at the gym or spent too much time sweating in the sun. Some foundations will give you that glowing look, whether you prefer mineral makeup, powder or liquid foundation.

Bare Escentuals

Unless you’re brand new to the world of makeup, you’ve probably tried mineral foundation. In 2010, the beauty experts at “Allure” recommended Bare Escentuals i.d. BareMinerals Matte Foundation for its ability to stay on your skin, even when you don't have time to reapply your makeup. It has just enough shine to give you radiant, glowing skin, and won't leave you looking like you finished your look off with a light layer of olive oil.

L’Oreal True Match

L’Oreal True Match liquid foundation was recommended by the experts at “Glamour” in 2010 because it has a lightweight feel that goes on smooth and puts a natural glow on the skin. It's not perfect. “Glamour” says it may not cover up ultra-noticeable imperfections. If you need a lot of coverage, it may not be right for you because it’s pretty sheer. L’Oreal True Match – L’Oreal products are available at most drug stores.

Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Microfinish Powder

Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Microfinish Powder is a lightweight powder with a translucent finish, according to “Glamour.” If the powder alone doesn’t cover quite as much as you want, first put on a light layer of your favorite liquid foundation. This double-team coverage can help if a pimple or blemish rears its ugly head.

Mac Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation

Mac’s Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation provides light coverage for natural skin, but it also adds "a little bit of natural looking glow," according to Real Simple. The foundation also contains silicone dioxide. Silicone dioxide, an active ingredient in sunscreen, has an SPF rating of 15.
