So, you need a bra that supports your large breasts but you want a bra that looks nice. What's a girl to do? You don't have to be stuck with a bra that sacrifices fashion for fit - there are a variety of options available on the bra market for fuller-busted women. The key is to try on several styles until you find the one that fits and flatters your fuller-busted figure.

Full Coverage

Full coverage means full support for larger breasts. A full coverage bra does what it sounds like - it fully covers your entire breast, or most of it at least. This style will provide you with all-around support and minimize breast spillage out the front or sides of your bra. A full-coverage bra works well under a form-fitting outfit because it will smooth out your figure and keep "the girls" in place. This option may not work well for low necklines or tank tops as it tends to have high coverage.

Minimizer

If you find that your button-down blouses gap open or that your breasts become the focal point of any outfit you wear, add a few minimizer bras to your lingerie wardrobe to solve these problems. A minimizer bra is designed to make a fuller bust look smaller; most of them will reduce your bust size by 1 or 2 inches. They do this by redistributing your breast tissue to spread it out over your chest area instead of bringing all the size front and center like a traditional bra might do.

Balconette or Demi Styles

A balconette bra, or demi cup bra, is one that has a smaller cup than a traditional bra. In general, a demi cup or balconette bra has a shallower cup and your breasts fill it in, resting in the cups. The cups in a balconette bra are usually sturdy and supportive, made with padding and stiffer fabric than other bra styles. This type of bra sometimes works well for fuller-breasted women because it doesn't squeeze the breasts on the top and sides. It also works well for a lower neckline because your bra won't show through in the outfit.

Underwire or Wire-Free

Underwire in a bra works well for smaller-breasted women because it encircles the breasts. For larger breasts, the underwire may cut into the sides of the breast because the wire itself is too small for the breast. If your breasts are larger and wider, this style may not work well for you. In that case, a wire-free bra with supportive fabric on the sides will provide better shape, lift and comfort for your larger breasts than an underwire bra will do.
