Rein in your curls, girls! A spiral wave is a great way to add some volume and shape, but don't think you can just wash and go with that style. Spiral perms need extra love and attention to stay polished and full of bodacious shine. Get your tresses glowing with silky ringlets and show Taylor Swift what's up.

1.

Shampoo hair and apply a leave-in conditioner suited for chemically treated hair.

2.

Comb a 2-inch section of hair at the nape of your neck and clip your remaining hair up and out of your way.

3.

Divide your section into 2-inch squares and twist each one from scalp to ends with your finger.

4.

Repeat the sectioning and twisting in steps 2-3 and continue with the entire head until all of your hair is twisted in beautiful ringlets.

5.

Air-dry hair or blow dry it with a diffuser using a cool temperature setting.

6.

Run your fingers through your curls and add some shine with a light application of styling cream. You'll soften your style and prevent frizz while defining the fabulous shape of long curls.

Tips & Tricks

Do not blow dry spiral curls with a heat setting or attempt to run a brush through them, unless frizz is what you're after.
