Draw attention to beautiful eyes with the correct color eyeliner. Eyeliner is used to define and open up eyes, as well as make eyelashes appear fuller. When choosing the most flattering eyeliner shade, consider your eye color. You can choose eyeliner in liquid-, powder- or wax-based formulas, but the color is all yours.
Brown Eyes
Make your brown eyes look deep and dramatic with the appropriate eyeliner color. Dark brown or black eyeliner will give your eyes a mysterious look, while plum will add a pop of color. If you want to dress up your makeup look with a bit of shimmer, go for a bronze or copper eyeliner. If you're feeling adventurous, play up your eyes with navy blue eyeliner.
Blue Eyes
Make your baby blue eyes stand out with cool-toned eyeliner. You can always pull off any shade of blue eyeliner, but the darker you go, the more your eyes will stand out. If you're attending a special event or just want to draw attention to your eyes, add sparkle with light metallic blue or silver eyeliner. For a playful look, choose soft pink or lilac liner.
Green Eyes
If your have green eyes, you can't go wrong with a jewel-toned liners, such as emerald or amethyst. Make your green eyes pop by applying an eyeliner in a contrasting color, such as burgundy. Go for a natural, earthy look by picking a chocolate brown or copper-colored eyeliner.
Hazel Eyes
Lucky girls with hazel eyes have a large palette of eyeliner colors to choose from. Consider what color your want to bring out in your eyes when picking the ideal liner hue. For instance, draw attention to flecks of green with a deep green liner. Show off your eyes' brown sides with a gilded bronze or rich mocha eyeliner color.
