What girl doesn't want a few easy, quick girly hairstyles on her list of looks? Half the fun of being a girl is getting to play around with your hair and create really cute, feminine styles. Sure, there are times when you want a more elegant, mature look, but for days when you just wanna have fun, there are a few you've got to try.
Waves
Style your hair into loose waves by applying a wave-enhancing spray through your hair, then curling 2-inch-wide sections with a heated wand. Brush out the curls lightly just to loosen them up and create natural-looking, bouncy waves. Slip a hairband in near the front of your head to instantly make your look even more flirty.
Perky Ponytail
For a cheerleader-esque ponytail that's perky and oh-so-cute -- and takes only minutes -- start with freshly washed and dried hair so you get the most volume. Pull your hair into a high ponytail at the crown of your head, leaving out a 2-inch-wide middle strip of hair on top. Secure the ponytail with a hair elastic, tease the loose hair a bit and pull it back so it blends in with your ponytail. Wrap a bungee elastic around it and the ponytail to keep them together and leave you with the most lift in your ponytail. Spritz over your hair with a texturizing spray to add definition.
Sleek and Straight
To get your hair sleek and straight, blow-dry it with a round brush after washing. Once it's completely dry, flat iron over your hair, curling the ends in and under for a bouncy, girly look. To make it uber-girlified, slip on a pretty hairband or clip in a glittery or jeweled barrette. This adds the perfect finishing touch.
Side Braid
For a fancy side braid that looks like you spent hours working on it, start by parting your hair off to one side. Create a French braid at about the center of the part on top of your head, working away from the part and braiding down the side, around the back, and making the tail of the braid hang over the opposite shoulder. No one's going to believe that funky braid that twists around your entire head was so easy to do. Add a pretty hair clip or sparkly hairband to finish off this girly style.
