If you're bored with your old suede boots and want to give them a new life, consider a color makeover. It may seem like a difficult task, but dyeing suede is actually surprisingly easy and a lot of fun. Dark grey is a fantastic color to try; it's extremely fashionable right now and a sweet alternative to basic black. Grey also works with just about any other color, so no matter what shade your boots are now, grey can cover it up well.

Cover all the non-suede areas of your boots with masking tape.

Stuff the boots with newspaper.

Brush your boots with a suede brush to remove any dust or dirt.

Dip a wool dauber into the bottle of dye and gently dab all over boots, moving in a circular motion. Continue dabbing until the boots are completely covered with grey dye.

Let the boots dry overnight and repeat Step 4 with a second coat of dye. Repeat a third time if you feel it's necessary.

When dry, brush your boots with your suede brush.
