As a gal with a dark complexion, you're a true stunner. You want to accentuate your beauty and make your dark skin glow and pop. It's easy to dress for your black complexion, and it's all about choosing the right colors and style to get a dynamite look.

1.

Put on a brightly colored tank. Since you have very dark skin, you want to stay away from colors such as dark brown and black, which are just going to blend in with your skin tone and take away from your stunning good looks. A bright hue such as fuchsia or tangerine orange is really going to look incredible against your dark skin by creating a contrast.

2.

Tuck your tank into a pair of chino capri pants or skirt in a lovely beige color. Brown hues do work against your skin tone, but only if you go at least a shade or two lighter than the color of your skin, so it's complementing. The hem should fall just above your knee to make this look perfect; it works for day or evening.

3.

Add a belt through the loops in your pants or skirt to define your waist and accessorize, but do it simply without going overboard.

4.

Put on a pair of strappy sandals if you're going for a day look -- opt for a pair in the same shade as your belt or shirt, depending on how bold you want to be -- or go with sky high heels if you want an evening look.

5.

Add some gold jewelry, like a thin gold chain necklace and knuckle duster ring, to complement your dark, rich skin tone and finish off your look perfectly. Gorgeous and glam!

Tips & Tricks

Add a couple coats of a rich color to your nails to really finish off your look. A gold color, red or yellow shade will look stunning against your dark skin.
