When it comes to staying warm and cozy in the fall and winter, UGG boots are a girl's best friends. They can be a stylish option - just check out stars such as Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rachel Bilson wearing them around town. The trick is finding the right way to wear them. If you plan to rock a pair of short UGGs with jeans, you can go for several different looks that are celebrity-approved but comfy at the same time.
Tucked In
If you’re a fan of skinny jeans, grab a pair and wear them with your short UGGs. You can easily tuck skinny jeans into your boots for a look that’s chic and stylish – and totally comfortable. The look can also work with denim leggings or straight leg jeans if they’re cut slim. Since you’re going for a lean, close fitting look on bottom, pair your tucked in jeans and short UGGs with a loose style shirt. Try a slouchy v-neck sweater or boyfriend cardigan for a look that’s perfect for running errands or meeting friends for lunch.
Over the Boots
Skinny jeans definitely aren’t for everyone, but don’t worry if they’re not in your comfort zone – you can still rock a pair of short UGGs. Instead of slim-fitting jeans, pair your boots with a boot cut or flared style and wear them over the boots. Your UGGs will be mostly covered, so it’s a good look if you don’t want your boots to be your outfit’s main attraction. Pair your boot cut jeans and covered UGGs with a tighter fitting shirt – a simple tee shirt works for an ultra casual option, but try a cropped sweater or a sleek ribbed turtleneck when you want to feel a little more put together.
Bunched Up
For girls who prefer jeans that aren’t too tight or too loose, wear your short UGGs with your jeans bunched up at the top of them. It’s a messy, casual look, but if you like a relaxed, bohemian style, it may be right up your alley. You can wear straight leg jeans that are too thick to tuck into your boots, and just scrunch them up at the top of the UGGs. Pair the look with a Henley style sweater, sheer, floral pattern tunic or a belted cardigan.
Rolled Up
If wearing your UGGs with bunched up jeans is a little too sloppy for your taste, roll up your jeans instead. Fold the bottom of your jeans to make a cuff above the tops of your short UGGs for a look that’s casual, but polished. Wear your cuffed jeans and boots with a fitted, cable-knit sweater for a warm, comfy look, or try a boyfriend cardigan and tank top if you like a layered style.
