If you're looking to let your fab facial features shine through, keep your hair from dominating by cutting it into a bob. You think a bob style equals boring or basic? Not true. Here's the 411: You can wear this timeless style in a multitude of ways, from edgy to chic to perfectly elegant.

Choppy

No need to curl your bob. Instead try an edgy, super straight, piece-y bob. To get the look, start by flat-ironing your locks perfectly straight. Then use a texturizer or pomade. Rub it in your hands and then rub into your hair. Then use your fingers to apply it to give your hair a choppier look.

Curly Bob

Instead of wearing your bob straight, curl it up. Just curl sections of hair with a medium- or large-barrel curling iron. Make sure to hold the iron vertically so you create bouncy ringlets all over your hair. Once curls are cool, run your fingers through them to loosen them up.

Add a Bang

If you're looking to frame your face, add a bang to your bob. Wear yours down directly over your forehead or cut your bangs a little bit longer and sweep them to the side. Both ways are super modern and look totally fashionable. If you're not sure which style you like best, start out with a short bang and sweep it over as it grows out.

Faux Bob

If you don't want to commit to a bob, you can fake it. It's a fun way to sport a bob for a day and then go back to your regular hairstyle. Curl your hair. Then fold it under loosely and bobby pin it in place. Make sure to leave a few pieces of hair at the top hanging over your fold to mask it. And there you have it. An instant faux bob.
