If you don't quite have long tresses, you might think you have less styling options than your friends with longer locks. But, there are actually plenty of cute things you can do to your hair that are easy to boot. You've just got to learn a few fashionable styles, and your short to medium length hair is sure to look fab.

Wear it Super Sleek

If you've got a shorter 'do, wear it in a sleek, modern bob. To get your hair nice and straight, start by applying styling spray all over your locks. Let hair air dry until it's about 90 percent dry, then do a gentle blow dry to finish your look. When you do dry your hair, opt for an ionic dryer. If your locks are still a little frizzy, work through them with a flat iron in pieces to further smooth out your look.

Wear It In Pretty Curls

Soft, romantic curls totally work with short to medium length hair. They actually look quite chic and dashing. To get the look, start by creating a deep part in the hair. Then just take a big barrel curling iron and curl sections of hair around it. Let curls cool, and then run your fingers through your locks to loosen. Add a touch of hairspray, and you're all set.

Pull it Up

Just because you don't have tons of hair doesn't mean you can't wear it in an updo. Part hair slightly off center, then brush it back, twisting it into a slight chignon and pinning it in place. Add some volume with another charming pulled-up look. This time take hair at the crown of the head and tease it. Then smooth it back with a brush to make a subtle elegant pouf. Finish by twisting locks into a little chignon and pinned up.

Twist It

Go bohemian with a simple but trendy look. Part hair in the middle. Take a section of your hair along the part at the hairline. Twist it and pin it to the back of the head with a bobby pin. Do the same thing on the other side of your head. It doesn't get simpler than that. If you want to add a bit more texture, instead of twisting your hair, braid it and pin it back.
