Summer means two things: baseball season and wedding season. You can probably figure out what to wear to a baseball game on your own, but dressing for a summer wedding -- whether you're the bride or just a guest -- is not so easy. For women with cappuccino skin, the secret is choosing hues with warm, sunny undertones.

For the Bride

Summer brides have plenty of wardrobe and beauty concerns to contend with, but beyond the style of your dress, you should also be sure the color of your dress suits the season and your skin tone. First of all, true white is definitely an option. Because your cappuccino skin is naturally a medium tone and tans easily, summer is the best time to pull off true white. If bright white's not your thing, try a very light pink or ivory. Both will make your skin glow.

For the Guest: Pastels

The wedding invitation is your first clue as to the style and colors of a summer wedding. If the invitation is light, flowery and floral, it's best to complement the bride's decision -- but that doesn't mean you need to perfectly color match the decor. If she's gone pastel, choose a light coral or turquoise dress. These yellow-based colors will complement your skin tone without clashing with your surroundings.

For the Guest: Brights

For a tropical locale or bright daytime wedding, a bright hue is perfect for the guest. For cappuccino skin, choose a warm golden yellow or watermelon pink dress. Keep in mind that the color should have more red undertones than cool blue. This will keep your skin looking warm and rosy.

For the Guest: Evening

Formal evening weddings are probably most difficult to dress for during the summer. Sure, you could just wear an LBD, but why not spice things up? Try a tan dress with more formal detailing like lace. Alternatively, ultra-rich saturated colors like red or eggplant work equally well, both for your skin color and the evening atmosphere.
