A little cold weather doesn't stop the party, so don't throw your party dresses in storage when it cools off outside. Instead, slip on a pair of tights to keep your legs comfy and cute. Depending on your frock, you've got tons of options for the color you want to rock your tights.
Black
Black is a pretty fail-safe option and you can wear it with pretty much every shade. If you're opting to wear black tights, you should either match your shoes to your dress or match your shoes to your tights. When you're playing around with multiple colors and black tights, things can get a little dicey, so to play it safe, stick to the basics.
Matching
If you've got a colored dress, try matching your tights to your dress. It's incredibly trendy and a fun way to add color to your look. Slip on red tights with your red dress, or opt for blue tights with your blue dress. Keep your shoes a neutral shade; try black or metallic to keep the focus on your fab frock and tights.
Patterns
If you're working with a monochromatic dress and want to spice it up a little bit, try a patterned tight. Tights these days come in all kinds of cool patterns, from floral prints to plaids. Slip on a pair of patterned tights to make your outfit instantly more interesting.
White
White tights are fab for fall. They've been seen all over the runways from BCBG to Thakoon, paired with dresses. Try yours with a gray or silvery party dress. Or pick tights that are printed but have a white or cream base. Then add a metallic heel or try a gray bootie to tie the look together.
