Combining light colors is a great way to put together an easy, feminine outfit. If you’ve got light blue pants and a light gray shirt, you’ve definitely accomplished this. All you have left to figure out is what color shoes you should wear: certainly, a fun "problem" to have. You can go bold or subtle, but you have tons of super stylish options that will help you rock this look with extra confidence.
Black
Black shoes are a must-have in any fashionista’s wardrobe. They’re super versatile, and come in any style you can think of. Blue
Try navy blue shoes or a textured sky blue pair, but feel free to choose the same hue as your pants. The key to making a monochromatic look work, according to “Who What Wear,” is to use varying shades and create nuance. So don’t match your pants exactly, but wear a darker or light shade of this lovely color.
Leopard Print
Leopard print shoes can totally work, according to fashion expert Hadley Freeman of “The Guardian” -- as long as the rest of your look is very plain. Freeman says, “in these small, very restrained doses, a bit of animal print is foxy,” which, of course, you want to be. Because your ensemble is super plain, you can easily wear animal print shoes in flats, pumps or boots, and not worry about being too busy.
Neon
If you’re feeling like going really bright -- electrically so -- then choose a pair of neon shoes. These bold hues work are great with neutral colors, which light gray and light blue both are. This is a statement-making pair of shoes, so if you want all attention on your kicks, go for it with neon yellow, orange, pink or purple.
Red
There is nothing like a pair of red shoes to show off your vixen side. With light neutrals such as gray and blue, you can absolutely wear your red shoes. For a fancier event, wear red pumps. For a day of shopping, wear cute red flats. Regardless of your venue, you can make this combo work.
