Gucci is known for its classic designs and timeless, monogrammed styles, and the fabric used to make them is built to last. With proper care, a Gucci handbag can last a lifetime. The care includes cleaning so stains and dirt are never allowed to leave a permanent mark on the bag. Luckily, the fabric handbags are a cinch to clean up with the right products and techniques.

Empty the contents of the purse.

Dab the fabric gently with a baby wipe to remove surface dirt. Avoid rubbing aggressively as this can grind the dirt into the fabric. Light dabbing can draw out any grime from the surface.

Soak a soft cloth in warm, soapy water then wring out.

Press the moist cloth into the fabric and rub in a circular motion to remove stains.

Soak the toothbrush in soap water. Using a back-and-forth motion, use the toothbrush to scrub deep-set stains.

Blot the wet fabric with a clean, dry cloth to soak up excess moisture and accelerate the drying process.

Let the fabric air-dry.
