Using makeup to create a fresh spring look is always fun. Whether spring actually is right around the corner or you just want to add a bit of light and fun to your look, you can have a great time doing it. Just make sure you choose the right hues, based on your skin tone. If you're an ebony-skinned queen, you need to pick the right colors and apply it right to get the fresh, gorgeous spring look you want.
1.
Apply a light coat of foundation to your face. Even if you're not exactly in the mood for putting on a full face of makeup, that's OK: the point is to apply just a bit of foundation to create a base on your face. This smooths out your skin, evens out your skin tone, and gives your makeup something to stick to. Longer lasting makeup? Cheering is well-deserved.
2.
Choose eye shadow -- it's really fun if you have an ebony skin tone. Ladies with a darker complexion can use brighter shades and not look clownish.
3.
Pick a pretty blush to get you that flirty flush no springtime look can be without. Again, because you're an ebony-skinned gal, you have lots of options. The only thing you want to remember is to opt for a brighter shade of blush, so it stands out and packs a punch, rather than just blending into your skin tone.
4.
Use pinks and reds to create a gorgeous springtime look. You have a lot of freedom with your lipstick color, but remember one rule: make it an opaque finish, not sheer. Add a light coat of your favorite clear lip gloss to perfect that pucker.
5.
Finish off your gorgeous look with a lovely highlighter shadow. Don't coat your whole face in it; sweep a light shade of the light-colored powder onto the tops of your cheekbones and your temples. This brightens up your whole face and makes you look glowing and radiant.
The same rules generally apply to your clothing. So if you want to buy some pretty new spring clothing, keep them in mind.
Dark skin can get really dry. To get that fresh, glowing look, a little moisturizer can go a long way. Moisturize in the morning or before bed at night to keep your skin healthy and radiant.
