Fiery car chases, hunting down bad guys and sexy leading men are all hallmarks of the iconic James Bond film franchise. No hunky star is complete without a sultry lady friend, and few women are more recognizable than Bond girls. You can recreate the classic Bond girl look -- like that of Eva Green, played by Vesper Lynd in "Casino Royale" -- and rock those smoky, sensual eyes.
1.
Apply a light foundation to your entire face. Smooth the foundation over your skin, blending it in with your fingers for a smooth, flawless face.
2.
Dot an eye primer over your lids. Rub the primer over your lids, adding a little to the space between your eyebrows and crease to build an even base for your shadow.
3.
Line your upper eyelid with a black liner pencil. Keep the line thin near the inner corner, increasing the thickness at the outer corner. Sweep a little liner over the lower lash line, extending the pencil a tiny bit past the natural lash line to make your eyes look bigger. Smudge the liner slightly with a brush or cotton swab, rubbing it back and forth gently to soften the edges. This builds a bit of smokiness along the lashes for super sex appeal.
4.
Brush a neutral shadow over the lid, coating the entire area from eyelashes to the crease. Pick a shade that’s close to your natural skin tone to add a tiny bit of color without looking unnatural. If you’re feeling a little bold, use a shadow with a little glitter or shimmer.
5.
Add a darker shadow to the outer edge of the crease, sweeping it on with a thin, tapered brush. Brush the shadow on in a V-shape at the edge of the eye, adding a little shadow along the lash line for extra oomph.
6.
Dust a bit of super light shadow over the brow bone, blending it gently into the darker shadow with a soft brush for smooth, even color. Ivory or champagne shadows are great for the brow area, as they reflect light and give you big, doe eyes.
7.
Sweep on a coat of mascara on the top and bottom lashes. If your lashes are thin or short, glue on a set of false upper lashes to complete your sexy, sultry Bond girl eyes.
Pick shadows that work with your hair and skin tone. Shades of gray and charcoal are classic smoky eye colors, but brown, green and blue shadow palettes work just as well.
Don't apply too much eye liner right off the bat. You can always add more liner if your eyes aren't smoky enough, but if you put on too much you'll have to wash your face and start again.
