"Allure" has a reputation for bringing its readers the best makeup tips whether it be for summer, fashion week or weddings. Even celebrities such as Taylor Swift have been able to give their makeup advice for readers of the magazine. They are known as "the beauty expert" and you can pretty much find any information needed to get the look you want.

Foundation

People are always looking for beauty and makeup tips, especially during the summer. If you live in a warmer climate, such as Florida, those tips may be applicable year round. Foundation is one of the tougher aspects of make-up because as the humidity and heat set in, things change. Your makeup can start to melt and look gooey, so "Allure" suggests adding primer. Applying it all over to moisturized skin, before adding the concealer and foundation, is the key to a long-lasting look. You also want to opt for a silicone-based formula, which is more lightweight and won't clog pores.

Eyes

"Allure" has an abundance of tips on its website, but some of the more popular ones have to do with eyelashes. Everyone is dying to have lashes like Kim Kardashian, but unfortunately not everyone has those super long lashes naturally. Fake it till you make it honey! Here is what you can do: Use a good mascara with a curved wand. Dot on your eyeliner and then connect the dots for a smooth line. Then start with your bottom lashes, and give them several coats. Then go in vertically and fill in the lashes you missed. For the top, use a lash curler and waterproof mascara immediately after, which will lock in the curl. Apply to the underside first, and give them several coats, always giving each coat a chance to dry before re-dipping the wand. You want to be sure and maximize the amount of mascara that deposits. Carefully use cotton swabs to clean up any smudges when the process is complete.

Lips

For lips, long lasting seems to be the key. Who wants to worry about their lipstick smearing or wearing off? A one-stop shot is all it takes. "Allure" had the chance to sit with Taylor Swift who is famous for her red pout. She was happy to share her beauty trick with fans. First you need to apply the lipstick, then blot it with a tissue. Put some powder on the tissue and press it onto your lips. Then re-apply. This allows it to stain the lips and lasts much longer.

Cheeks

For a glowing look, bronzer isn't always the answer. "Allure" recommends a cream blush which will make you appear "lit from within" and comes off a bit more natural than powder blush or bronzer. Be sure to look for a color appropriate for your skin tone. For fair or medium skin, try a rosy coral color. A raisin shade would look best for a deeper skin tone.
