If there's one makeup look that seems to never go out of style, it's the nude lip. Whether you're going for a smoky eye look and want to keep the rest of your makeup simple, or you want to follow in the footsteps of a fashion icon such as Kim Kardashian or Lauren Conrad, you can get the look yourself, no problem. Find your perfect nude lipstick and work it with the best of them.

Take any makeup off your lips and give them a good buffing before heading out to find the right nude lipstick. One nude lipstick is not right for every girl, because there are different skin tones and types. You need to find just the right one for you, and starting off with a clean slate is the only way to do this.

Find a creamy nude lipstick, and compare the color to the skin around your chin area, to find one that blends in with the color of your skin. Most lips have a pinkish or reddish hue to them, so you're not trying to match the lipstick up with your lips.

Smooth on some lip balm. This seals moisture in your lips so you achieve a creamy, luscious lip, not a dry, chapped mess.

Apply a bit of concealer or primer over your lips. You already buffed up your pucker, but this helps even more to get rid of any imperfections on your lips, smoothing them out to perfection.

Line around your lips with a nude liner and top your lips with that creamy lip color you picked out earlier. There's no way to top this nude look, and even Kim herself may be asking you for tips.
